As Promised

We have been terrible about taking pictures lately, thus the lack in picture postings. But, here are a few to tide over the fans. I had to take a picture of her bed head. She had just woken from a nap and I have never seen it so wild! Interestingly, after her afternoon nap her hair was back to normal. Wouldn't that be nice? Go to bed and awaken with perfect hair?

Since I had the camera out I enticed her to do some tricks. Here she is waving. (That's bread on her tray, in case you're wondering. I actually got out the camera because instead of picking up the bread to take a bite, she was going face first onto the tray for a bite. Unfortunately once I got out the camera, she stopped eating.)

Clapping.....(Have I mentioned she now has 7 teeth? Seven. I know, she is so big. Four on top and the third bottom tooth just popped through).
Mira loves books. Seriously...LOVES them. She brings them to me all day long to read to her. It's adorable. Here she is taking a book to daddy to read.
Listening intently (I love how she's sitting as if she's in kindergarten listening to the teacher read a book. She never tries to climb in my lap for a story, but sometimes I put her there because I love to cuddle with her while I read. Luckily, she apeases me, but soon she's off to find another book.).

Clapping because she likes the story.

Standing and listening.

And here she is chewing on daddy's toothbrush. She loves toothbrushes and seems to find daddy's everyday to play with (often dragging it on the floor. I guess what he doesn't know can't hurt him...except for now he knows...sorry honey!)

I know, I know, you all think she is the cutest almost 11 month old you have ever seen. I know, I have to agree. She is pretty darn amazing.
Ok, I'll stop bragging about the sweetest girl on Earth to mention that our friends Josh and Amy have written a book! It's not out yet, but will be soon. You can check out their website here and sign up to receive an email when it's available to order. I obviously haven't read the book, but I'm sure it will prove to be amazing. Seriously, go to their website to read an exerpt.

I love that she was eating her bread 'bobbing for apples' style. So funny! I agree that what daddy doesn't know won't hurt him, but I hope she wasn't dragging his toothbrush all over the ground. G-R-O-S-S! I am so excited that she is walking. Woo-hoo!

Rather than do my usual blog-stalking...I HAD to make a comment on this! HELLO CUTIE-HEAD!!! Gina, she's adorable! I know I've said this before, and I know YOU know she's uber-cute, but it really has to be typed out! The cuteness hurts me! L-O-V-E the bedhead!

Beauty and brains! I love that she loves books. May her interest in reading only grow as she grows. She's so precious.
