...we are still in California, and leaving tomorrow. Before we got here I wondered if I would be sad to head back to hotter-than-you-can-imagine-Oklahoma, or ready to head home. I'm ready to head home. Mira has been such a trooper, but the poor little munchkin has not had enough sleep since we've been here. She went to bed at 8:00 California time (10:00 Oklahoma time), but would get up on Oklahoma time (6:30 California time), so nightime sleep was lacking, and then she would often not sleep long enough at naptime. Add in the late nights with the rehearsal dinner and wedding, and the poor Bubbs is exhausted! It will be nice to get back to her own bed where she can get some better sleep.
On a positive note, my brother and Lindsay's wedding was BEAUTIFUL! Lindsay was stunningly beautiful and the weather was perfect for an outside wedding by the ocean. Everything was amazing, and I'm so excited they are husband and wife! They left today for their honeymoon in Bora Bora. Luckies! I wish Mira would have not been so tired because she wouldn't walk down the aisle. I had to carry her down. Not ideal because I know Lindsay didn't want me to have to carry her, but she would have screamed her head off if I had put her down. At least when we were walking down the aisle everyone said, "awwwww". They must have thought she was pretty cute.
