Zoo

Abe was so inspired by the beautiful weather lately, he decided to leave work early yesterday so we could take a family trip to the zoo. It was the best zoo trip we have ever taken. It was the first time Mira has been really into the animals, and Abe was so sweet with her as he held her and pointed out the different animals and discussed what sounds each of them make. I am so blessed to have a great husband AND a great daddy for Mira (and soon Isaiah).

Here are daddy and daughter in front of a waterfall...or as Mira calls it, a pond.

Watching the giant fish. Again, a "pond", according to Mira. She loves ponds and talks about them anytime we pass any body of water whether large or small. Taking a time-out from the animals so mommy could get a pic...and as you can see Mira is looking in the distance...at the next "pond" (which was really a waterfall).

While not zoo related (although it would have been perfect in this crazy wind we've been having), Mira now has enough hair for a cute little ponytail!!! Isn't it adorable?!? Yes, I think it is. And, I was shocked that when I told her to "turn sideways and look over here so mommy can take a picture", she knew what I meant...and stood SO still. I love the curls. Cutie little curls.

That is the cutest little pony tail! Let me tell you if we have another child I want a boy just for the fact that I don't have to mess with the hair! Hopefully Mira will be a hard-headed beauty. If Berklee even sees a brush she starts crying!

What a picture perfect day. Looks like Mira is becoming a little girl with her cute pony tail. I hate it that all our babies are growing up!

Mira is such a beauty. I love hearing about bits and pieces of her little personality developing.

When I saw the first picture, I thought, "Mira's hair has gotten long!" She's a little lady now. :)
