Enough excuses, let's get to the good stuff.
My baby girl is three months old!!! How is that possible? We feel like we've had her forever, but it also feels like the last three months flew by. Here's her cutie three month pic.
Elliana is such a sweet, smiley girl who loves to laugh! She laughs hysterically when I change her clothes. It's hilarious. She loves her brother and sister, although they are really good at crowding her, so I wonder if she feels overwhelmed at times. It's hard to know because she hardly ever cries. Seriously. It's amazing. I kind of thought the big kids would get over her pretty quickly, but mommy has instead become chopped liver. When they see me with her first thing in the morning, they both yell, "baby!" and act as if I'm not even there. I'm so so thankful they love her so much!!
Elliana's new favorite trick is chew chew chewing on her hands. I'm thankful our new amazing pediatrician warned me this would happen at three months or I would have thought she was teething. Isn't this my third kid?? How did I never know this before??? I probably just assumed the last two were either hungry or teething. Sheesh.
In other exciting (or not so exciting??) news...Mira lost her first tooth!!! What?? Your kid didn't lose a tooth at age three? Oh, yes, that's right...it's because they're NOT SUPPOSED TO! Do you remember when she was almost two and she jumped out of Abe's arms and landed on her face? And how two of her front teeth were smashed almost out of the gums completely? And on the way to the ER she pushed them back in the socket? Well she kept those teeth for almost two years (it would have been two years on the 21st of December), but alas, her little brother decided to whack her in the face with a toy two weeks ago. Throughout the rest of that day we noticed her tooth getting lower and lower in her gums until the evening when it was so loose it was time for it to come out. I attempted to pull it whilst also holding Elliana and Isaiah jumping all over me. Mira had apparently had enough of that, and reached up and pulled it out herself! Ta-da! Here she is with her cute front gap.
And thankfully since it's a front tooth she doesn't need a spacer to keep room for the permanent tooth that will appear (in the next 2-3 years). Also thankfully, the missing tooth hasn't phased her one bit. Thank You Jesus.
Gotta go, my boy is awake. Happy Wednesday!
