Philippians 4:8

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things."

This verse has been comforting to me since Saturday when someone broke into our home...

...while I was home...alone...with the baby...and we escaped through the side garage door and out the gate...and ran through the empty lot next door...to the neighbors house.

It's hard not to feel anxious. Scared. Fearful. I have to take refuge in God's promises. I have to take comfort in meditating on the above verse. Because I've played back those moments in my mind one hundred thousand times. And I have to be reminded to think about more noble, right, pure, lovely things so as not to have a panic attack. 

Please pray for me in the coming days and weeks. I believe the Lord protected me and my family. We are safe, thanks to a mighty God. The criminals have not been caught. Please prat that they are caught. And that they come to know Jesus. That is my prayer for them.

Oh my goodness Gina! I will definitely be praying for you! I never watch the news but my mom said there have been a lot of break ins! I can't imagine.
