Job change

Meant to post the week of July 20th...

It's been an exciting month for us. In addition to Elliana turning one and learning to walk, my hubby also started a new job this month. He was with his previous employer five years and he learned a lot and is grateful for his time there. An opportunity arose with another employer that he just couldn't turn down. He's doing the same thing...recruiting...but instead of recruiting for several different clients he's recruiting internally for a company called Global Living. He fills open positions in their facilities in about ten different states. The biggest changes that come along with this job are: a salary instead of working on commission (can I get an AMEN!)
He now works from HOME! This has been AMAZING!! It was an adjustment for the first couple of days, but it is such a blessing having him home with us. Seriously, I LOVE it!!
Other benefits include a discount at a local gym. We joined a gym for the first time in four years. It. Was. Time. My stipulations for gym membership included child care and a pool where the kids could swim. Check and check. Getting out of the house and working out by myself for an hour a day has saved my sanity. (and all the stay at home moms just yelled Amen).
Another perk of the new job: a monthly discount on our cell phone bill. I know, the news just gets better and better, huh?
