OSU homecoming!!!

For the first time since having kids, we packed them into the car and drove an hour north for OSU homecoming last month. We had a blast!!! The kids loved it almost as much as we did, and we enjoyed introducing them to the finer things in life, like Mexico Joe's (which, if I'm being honest, was not as good as my memory served it to be).

Once a decade we get a couple picture together...it still counts if it was taken in the car...with an iPhone.

SO SO SO very thankful for the two random sweet strangers who offered to take a family pic of us in front of Theta Pond.

GO POKES!!!

They still love to wear their "go Pokes" outfits.

And in case you are clueless as to why OSU is considered to have the best homecoming in the nation, it's because the sororities and fraternities pair up to compete with one another on who can make the best "house deck". This is a picture of a very small portion of ONE house deck. It's so amazing because that entire sign (and everything behind it) is made from tissue paper. That's right, folks, it's called "pomping", and they stuff tiny pieces of tissue paper into holes to make a glorious house deck. If you've never experienced the awesomeness in person, you should. It's the eighth wonder of the world.

See all those people? 82,000 people (you read that right, 82,000) couldn't get it wrong. It's an awesome site to behold.
