I like to get on my blog just to look at Mira's pictures. =) You would think after staring at her all day I wouldn't need to look at her picture, but it's fun to see her sweet cute faces caught in action. I know those are pictures I will cherish for a lifetime. It's amazing how they grow right before your eyes. I put a premie onsie on her today and had to take it off because she was too long for it! She's getting so big! I can't wait until she goes back to the doctor (not until March 28) so we know how long she's getting. I got an email from my friend, Macee, today. She reads my blog and commented that we seem to be settling in nicely. That makes me feel good because I feel like I've been being a little sarcastic about mommy-hood. We are settling in nicely and I can't even imagine what life was like before little Mira came along. Honestly the most difficult part has been having 9 puppies at the same time. Sheesh. I. do not. recommend. doing. that. EVER. It has been terrible to have to also take care of 9 puppies at the same time as a newborn. Terrible. Not an exaggeration. Mainly for my poor husband who has to get up early to take care of them and that's the first thing he has to do once he's home from work. Seriously, who knew 9 puppies were so much stinkin' work? The hardest part for me has been that his time has been split between us and them. But, we are down to only 4 in our home still. One leaves tomorrow (Tuesday), one leaves Thursday, one next Tuesday. Unfortunately we still have one to sell. The smallest little girl had been sold but the owner (a guy about our age) brought her back because he wasn't quite filled in on what it was like to take care of a puppy. He had her for two days and brought her back. Bum-er. So, we're still trying to sell her. Anyone interested? We dropped the price to $500 (originally $700). Yes people, that is a steal for a nice Boxer puppy.
