I've heard that the womb is as loud as a vacuum cleaner, so I decided to test out that theory on Friday. Mira was asleep in her swing (which is in the living room) and I really needed to vacuum. I didn't intentionally set out to test the theory, but figured if it were true she would continue to sleep through the vacuum running. And the verdict is...it must be true. I vacuumed the ENTIRE house while she was asleep and she kept on sleeping. I even bumped the swing with the vacuum cleaner which made her jump a little, but she kept right on sleeping. I couldn't believe it! In previous vacuum sessions she has always been awake so I wasn't sure how she would respond while sleeping. Now I know it's safe to vacuum when she's asleep! Hooray! She even slept so long I had time to clean the entire house and she was still asleep after that! I had to wake the little munchkin up to eat. She's so sweet.

I realized I haven't see pictures of you both together since the day she was born. Wow, you're a mom! And a wonderful one, I'm sure. She is absolutely precious. I'm dying to meet her...
