Today was a stressful stressful day. But I'm not ready to talk about it yet, so we'll leave it as a stressful stressful day. Eventually I will discuss this, but just not yet. So, we'll get on to my random thoughts...
Mira has two teeth! TWO teeth! I know, she's getting to be such a big girl! She is SO ready to crawl. She sits and bounces when she wants something that is too far away to reach. She gets up on her hands and knees and then doesn't know what to do, so she just sits back down. It is so cute to watch her getting closer and closer to being on the move.
I bought a new bottle hoping to sneak it in without Mira noticing, but no such luck. The bottle is called Adari Natural Nurser. It is supposed to be more realistic feeling, and I agree it does seem closer to the feel of skin. But, Mira is smarter than the bottle and she just sat there and made a face like "you have got to be kidding me with this". I had high hopes since the reviews said many babies who refused all other bottles would take this one. Maybe if I tried over and over it would work, but I don't have the patience. Especially since the bottle does leak a little. That's what a lot of the reviews also said, that it leaks. They weren't kidding, and I'm not up for dealing with leaks while trying to force the bottle. So, I'll be taking that $13 puppy back to the store. Yes, it's a little expensive, but hey if it works for someone it's totally worth it. I was trying to figure out why I wanted to give her a bottle so late in the game anyway. It would be nice if someone else could put her to bed at night, but since she won't take a bottle I always have to be the one to do it. I definitely don't mind because I like that part of our day, but that means I can't do ANYTHING in the evening EVER. Eventually that will get old. Oh well, I enjoy it for now and try not to think about what I could be missing in the world. Mira will only be a baby once. And a sweet one she is.

Have you tried having Abe give it to her without you in sight? We were told that her first bottles should be from someone else. I know we started earlier, but it's worth a try.
Two teeth?? She's getting so big so fast!! I don't know much (anything) about bottles, but for $13 a piece the things should be airtight and put her to sleep for you. :)
