We'll be buying blue!! It's a BOY! We are really excited! I'm sure Abe is getting a million high fives at work right about now. Guys are so funny!
My feeling was boy for the past few weeks. I got emotional (good emotional) right before the tech told us because I was thinking about how excited Abe would be to have a boy. And then she rolled the wand down far enough that I could see it was a boy before she told us. He he.
The tech printed off a bunch of pictures and handed them to Abe...face, profile, arm by the face, foot. And then she said, "Do you want a picture of the penis?"
Abe's response, "Yes, that is one of the most important parts of a man's life."
I couldn't stop laughing.
Our little guy will be named Isaiah Luke. I get teary just thinking of it because I love him so much already. Even though I really wanted Mira to have a sister close to her age, everytime I thought of the name Isaiah, I would feel emotional. That's how I knew it was a boy because I did the same thing when I thought of the name Mira before we knew she was a girl.
Isaiah is already a busy little guy and moved around a lot during the ultrasound. I can feel him moving mostly in the evening, and I LOVE feeling him move around! It's also fun to get to say "him" now instead of "it" or "the baby"! We feel very blessed and excited and the tech and doctor said everything looks great and is developing on schedule. Hip-hip-hooray! Thank you, Jesus!

AHHHHHHHHH! How wonderful. I don't know what it's like to have a girl, but little boys are amazing. I'm so glad Isaiah is already an active part of your lives. Hooray for babies! Such a magical time.

Isaiah is a great name by the way. I think it's hilarious that Abraham called it one of the most important parts in a man's life. Just one of? LOL
I know I have already told you - but I'm so excited for you! Does it seem more real now? Mira will be such a sweet older sister. And I LOVE the name too.
Congratulations, Gina! You will LOVE having a boy, they are SOOOOO much fun! And I know it doesn't seem as fun shopping for boys, but there are some really clothes and shoes out there, you will have a lot of fun! Congrats, again, my sweet friend!
