On the Mend
After a week of diarrhea, a low-grade fever, a new tooth, and a sore throat, Isaiah seems to be feeling better. Poor little guy. He's been through the ringer. We've come to the conclusion (doctor agreed) that his diarrhea was from his last round of immunizations. Apparently the rotovirus vaccine is known to have that side-effect. And since the onset was a day after the vaccine and lasted exactly a week, those were good indicators as well. Right after that, he ran a low grade fever, and then got a new tooth on Sunday. I thought his eating would get better, but on Tuesday by 2 p.m. he had only had 2.5 ounces to drink all day. I was done waiting to see how the rest of the day would pan out, and called the doctor. I think they expected his ears would be infected, but the doc said his throat was really red. Luckily no strep and no ear infections. Just Tylenol to help his little throat. Finally today he's been eating better. It's difficult to tell when he's sick since he's so laid back (Thank You Jesus!). He's always happy as a clam when I'm holding him, but he definitely was a little more fussy than normal. I'm thankful he's on the mend and back to thinking his sister is the most hilarious human on the planet. How does he already know what being silly is?? It's like they're born with the understanding of that concept!

I'm so glad he is feeling better, but so sorry you have had a sick baby all week! That is always so tough!
I'm glad he's getting better! Oh, and I'm pretty sure they both learned silly from their father. I'm just sayin.
So glad to hear he is feeling better - I bet he's pretty much back to normal now. I'm sure Mira is glad to have a laughing audience again, too.
