Here is a picture of Mira wearing her little brown cuff (a.k.a. bracelet for those who are unfamaliar with a cuff). She also has a cute black one and you can click here to go to Amy's blog to see a picture of her wearing both the black and brown one. In the pic on Amy's blog, I was trying to decide which to get her...I got the black one first and then also had to get her the brown one. I know, they are SO cute, you should go to Tara's Etsy site by clicking here and buy one for your baby. Tara has also started making them for children and adults as well and I'm wondering how long I need to wait after purchasing two for Mira before I can try to talk my hubby into letting me buy one for myself. (Oh, and in case you're wondering what Mira is holding in the picture, it's a wooden spoon. Yes, she loves to "cook" with me in the kitchen, as you will see more of below.)

Sitting on daddy's shoulders one Saturday morning. I love how she's looking around his head to see his face. So sweet.

My little chef. Whoever invented metal spoons and bowls and tile was a genious and clearly had children. She loves to bang bang bang those things around on the floor, and mommy loves it because dinner gets finished in time for daddy to be home!

Mixing her concoction...

See my spoon mommy???

I seriously think she is beautiful. I know everyone thinks that about their child, but seriously, she is amazing. I'm sure God gives us googley eyes for our own children but I really can't get enough of her sweet face. Here she is removing her shoe...
...and eating it.

Mira LOVES to stand. LOVES it. She will look for my hands and take one in each of hers and get this sweet little smile on her face and pull herself up. It's like she knows it's the greatest thing on earth to be able to stand up.
I love this one taken from behind.

I mentioned in my previous post about reading the Bible in 90 days. It is amazing so far. I have to confess I have never been a big fan of reading the old testament because I didn't ever feel like I got much out of it. But God is revealing so much to me through His word just in the past three days and I look forward every day to my time to sit down and read some more. Refreshing. If you think the Bible is boring, I encourage you to take the 90 day challenge. It will change your life.

She is ADORABLE, Gina! She sure is growing up fast! Hey, we were at the fair today, we might have passed each other and not known it... I was the one surrounded by children!! :) he, he, he! Oh, LOVE the cuff! Too bad I have 3 boys!
Mira looks too cute with her cuff! :) I am in a Bible study right now going through the life of Moses. I love going through the OT because it helps me to understand God's sovereignty and to see His plan for Christ that was lined out throughout the Bible. Anyways, glad you're enjoying your reading!
Mmmmm... fair food. Yum. I hope you guys had a great time. The cuff? I think that Hazel will have to navigate the accessory jungle on her own since her mother is not adequate to serve as a guide. Maybe she can call Mira for some tips later... I love that behind picture - love their little tooshies. Oh, and I agree; the 90 days is great! I'm so glad to have a reading buddy!
Thanks for the shout out friend!! The cuff business is going pretty well- thanks to glorious friends like you!!
We missed you at play group yesterday. :(
I keep trying to get Malak to play with pots and pans while I am trying to get things done and he just gets angry and pushes them away...hmmm, not quite as musicly inclined as Mira I guess. :)
I LOVE that pic of Mira from behind. So funny! Her cute little legs all spread eagle. :)
It's not just you, your little girl is beautiful!! I'm so jealous of your going to the fair. The Indian tacos just aren't the same here!! :)
