Every Baby Needs A Cuff!

First of all...a shout out to Tara for making the cutest baby cuffs EVER!

Here is a picture of Mira wearing her little brown cuff (a.k.a. bracelet for those who are unfamaliar with a cuff). She also has a cute black one and you can click here to go to Amy's blog to see a picture of her wearing both the black and brown one. In the pic on Amy's blog, I was trying to decide which to get her...I got the black one first and then also had to get her the brown one. Tara has also started making them for children and adults as well and I'm wondering how long I need to wait after purchasing two for Mira before I can try to talk my hubby into letting me buy one for myself. (Oh, and in case you're wondering what Mira is holding in the picture, it's a wooden spoon. Yes, she loves to "cook" with me in the kitchen, as you will see more of below.)

My little chef. Whoever invented metal spoons and bowls and tile was a genious and clearly had children. She loves to bang bang bang those things around on the floor, and mommy loves it because dinner gets finished in time for daddy to be home!

I seriously think she is beautiful. I know everyone thinks that about their child, but seriously, she is amazing. I'm sure God gives us googley eyes for our own children but I really can't get enough of her sweet face. Here she is removing her shoe...

Mira LOVES to stand. LOVES it. She will look for my hands and take one in each of hers and get this sweet little smile on her face and pull herself up. It's like she knows it's the greatest thing on earth to be able to stand up.

I mentioned in my previous post about reading the Bible in 90 days. It is amazing so far. I have to confess I have never been a big fan of reading the old testament because I didn't ever feel like I got much out of it. But God is revealing so much to me through His word just in the past three days and I look forward every day to my time to sit down and read some more. Refreshing. Abe is taking off work early today and we're going to the fair. Woo hoo! Indian taco and yummy ooey-gooey cinnamon role here I come!
