There's a new restaurant in OKC called 105 Degrees. Why they name, you might ask? Because it's a "raw" restaurant, meaning none of the dishes/ingredients are cooked past 105 degrees. This keeps all the minerals, nutrients, etc. inside the food. And before you freak out about meat not being cooked long enough...they don't serve meat. So, if you're a meat and potatoes kind of person (ahem...my hubby) you may not want to visit this new establishment.
As much as I enjoy me some meat, I also love good food so I had to check it out. Tara and I, along with our kiddos, gave it a shot yesterday for lunch. The atmosphere is fun and the layout of the restaurant is very open. Tara and I had a hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded SO good! This is what we ended up with:
Tara ordered these delicious Spring Rolls

I ordered the yummy tostada (yummy...seriously!).jpg)

And Mira and Malak shared this Walnut toast with almond butter and bananas. Seriously, yum! I would love to have the recipe for their walnut toast. It was SO delicious!

I really want to go back and try their lasagna and every one of the desserts on their menu. Yum. I'm getting hungry just talking about it. If you like good fresh food, give 105 Degrees a try!

Sweet, you have an anonymous reader. Probably someone famous. :) Let me know the next time you go, I would love to come along and maybe get some of you and Tara's healthy habits to run off on me!
Mmm, it really was so delicious! We might need to go back soon... :)
I am working on a post about this very thing right now.
Looks delicious!!! I love that healthier restaurant options are popping up all over the US. I'm curious to know if and how long they will be popular.
