Our week consisted of...

...tasting the frosting for daddy's birthday cake (Abe's birthday is on Wednesday, but we celebrated Saturday night with his family). Mira loves to lick the spoon. Even though I'm having the ever-so-exciting and tasty glucose test on Monday, I couldn't resist some chocolate cake...(don't worry, I didn't eat the entire half...just one piece)
Playing piano at Gran's...
Reading therapy books...

And making bread in the bread machine that didn't rise. Quite yucky. I finally got it to work, but realized the flour I used expired LAST YEAR. Ugh. The bread tasted great...until you got to the after-taste. Bitter bread is not delicious. I haven't had a chance to make a loaf we can actually eat yet.

Watching the bread machine whirl around. Very exciting. I'm learning patience this week. Or really, over the past few weeks. We've had our house on the market for a month, with several lookers who "really like it" and "it's their favorite house" but so far no offers yet. It's such a roller coaster that today I realized God doesn't want me to put my emotions into whether each potential buyer makes an offer or not. Sigh. It's hard to be patient, but God is obviously still developing my character (as always!).
