- Tonight she found a cookie cutter shaped like an Evergreen tree and exclaimed,
How does she even remember what Christmas is? AND that she relates the tree to it!!
- One day last week right before Abe got home from work, the electricity went out. Mira, Isaiah, and I were in the process of playing in Mira's room. It stopped our play and Mira was processing the power outage (which lasted for a couple of hours). I noticed it seemed to bother her that she couldn't turn on her light or ceiling fan, so we prayed that God would turn our electricity back on. I encouraged us to keep playing (dancing) so that her mind would be off the lack of electricity. Abe got home, we went out to eat, and by the time we returned home, the electricity was back on. Fast forward to this evening when I was putting Mira to bed. We prayed together and after we said Amen, Mira stated, "Jesus electricity back on". Yep, Jesus turned our electricity back on. I love this girl...her memory astounds me.
- Mira made up her own song today. She was dancing around singing "said no" over and over. I finally realized what she was saying and thought it was an interesting. She stopped mid song and dance to tell me, "singing 'Said No' song". "said no, said no, said no, said noooooo". Where do they come up with this stuff? When Abe got home she did the rendetion for him to which he asked who said no. She replied, "Mommy said no".
- Before bed we sang Happy Birthday to Mommy, Mira, Isaiah, and Daddy's cup. If Daddy's cup only knew how lucky it was.
