I'm looking forward to the long weekend coming up. Abe's family is coming over for a cookout, and I'm excited! I always love a good cookout. We may or may not have a giant inflatable in our backyard for the occasion. Assuming it arrives in time. I can only imagine how excited my nephews will be if that does occur. I'm pretty sure that will officially make us the coolest aunt and uncle around. Hopefully by Sunday Mira and Isaiah will both be feeling better. Isaiah has had croup, but it sounds as if his barking seal of a cough is getting less barking seal-ish. He's still very congested though. Luckily he's a happy go-lucky little guy full of smiles. Mira's been sick for about a day and a half. Her temp last night was 101. An outsider would never have known she was sick, but she's been a lot more lethargic the past day or so. I gave her a mani/pedi this morning and she sat on my lap for about 15 minutes without moving. Usually after a nail painting she'll ask four hundred times if her nails are dry yet. Today she just sat and cuddled. Very unlike her. She's still done a little singing and dancing, but is not like her usual jumping, full of energy self. Praying they are both feeling better soon!
My new addiction as of late are blueberries and strawberries. Have you had any lately? They are soooo good right now. I also bought some cherries that were quite delicious. I'm going to be sad when berry season is over.
Enjoying the stroller at the park yesterday. This was an accomplishment since every time we tried to take a walk in the past, he would throw a fit. Usually he was in his carseat in the stroller, so maybe he got too hot. This was his first walk sans carseat. He did great!
Hugs for brother.
He's not so sure.
So proud!
We tried this out a couple of nights ago. It's not as big as the box made it look. Mira had fun for a while, and then maybe got a little cold (it was evening and the breeze was surprisingly chilly). It may be going back to the store.
Swimming!!
What are your plans this holiday weekend?

Love the pictures. Seems like I haven't seen Isaiah in forever. And I love fresh cherries! Cody brought back a huge sack of hand picked cherries from his last trip (he picked them) and they were delic. They are already gone and I'm sad we didn't have 2 sacks full.
i LOVE isaiah's reaction to the hug he got. He's such a happy little guy.
Also- I'm ready for Mira to be in dance class. I resist trying to teach her the 5 positions of ballet. I think it'd be more fun for me than her... lol
