Finally I joined the blogging world!

So I love reading other peoples blogs and have thought often of starting my own...and today I finally bit the bullet. As my husband and I await the arrival of our sweet little girl, I thought it would be fun to post about my thoughts, ideas, and whatever else comes along. And, this blog will be a great way to keep everyone posted on the pregnancy and arrival of our little one. Here goes...
We have decided on a name...Mira. We love it! We're still in the process of creating her nursery. So far, we have given the guest bed away and added a changing table to the room. Also, I'm pretty sure Mira has more clothes than I do already. Not really, but I was hanging up several clothing items given to us by our sweet friend, Dawnell, and I realized Mira might need a bigger closet. We already had several items in her closet...some we bought, some given to me by a co-worker, some from our friend Amy, and some from our friend Sherry. We have such sweet friends!
This weekend, we tackle painting the room. It will be a neutral color because the bedding I chose is a bright pink and green. Once we have the room painted, we can set up the crib, which is sitting in a box in the garage (my mom was sweet enough to keep my crib from childhood and gave it to us last weekend!). We also have a dressor that my mom kept, and when the painting is done, we'll add that as well. I'm excited to see the crib set up, it will feel more like a sweet nursery. I'm keeping a journal of our pregnancy/progress for Mira so she can read about how much we've thought about her even before she was born. I hope she'll enjoy reading it and learning about how much we love her already.
