And this is what it looks like now
We decided to paint the wall where the crib will go with the pink stripes. We couldn't bring ourselves to paint the entire room with stripes for fear it would look like a circus tent...and we weren't sure we could handle that much pink. The next task...the crib. Luckily, Abe has put up and taken down many a crib in his day (I also thought that was strange until he reminded me he has 4 million younger siblings...okay maybe just three). The crib is sitting nicely in the garage in the original box. Keep in mind, it is as old as I am...literally. But, my dad was a saver of all things including original packaging. Luckily my parents didn't move around a lot or else I'm not so sure it would be in pristine condition. I'm hoping the instructions are inside the box, although Abe is confident he would be able to put it together without them. We shall see... The crib task will have to wait a couple of weekends because next weekend is Abe's birthday and we'll be away visiting his family. We will for sure post pictures of the crib once it's complete!

Looks like he did a great job painting. We had the instructions with our crib, but Wes found them more confusing than helpful and just decided to tackle it on his own. Voila! He did a great job and crib is still standing days later!
Gina I LOVE the room! It looks so good! Love you!
