Hooray Hostesses!

My sweet friends threw me a baby shower on Saturday. It was a hit! They did such an amazing job decorating and making food, AND we had the famous Sprinkles cupcakes! (If you haven't heard of them, they've been featured on Oprah, along with other famous shows. And they only have two stores, one in Dallas and one in Hollywood. My friend, April, lives in Dallas so she brought them up with her for the shower!). I felt very blessed and honored to have such an amazing shower put on by my friends and be showered with gifts from friends and family. Here are some pics of the grand event. (Poor Amy got sick at the last minute and couldn't make it. Amy I missed you!) But, she definitely made her mark with the cute invitations she picked.
Here are some sweet hand-made blankets Mira received.

My mom put together this fun grouping of gift boxes that had a note attached saying, "Psst, Mira, a girl needs lots of these... Love Gran" (Gran will be what Mira will call my mom. My mom decided on the name herself. Very cute. )
And inside each cute little box, was a cute little pair of one of these! Check out those adorable white boots! Each pair is so cute and got lots of oohs and aahs at the shower.
Here are the boxes decorating Mira's changing table.

You are on your way to being a great blogger - not to be confused with booger. Sorry - I'm in a weird place this morning...

Love those shoes! What a cute idea your mom had with those boxes...She gets an A for presentation! :) I am glad you had a good time, but I am sad I wasn't there. I am also sad to have missed out on the Sprinkles!

Oh yes, Amy, the Sprinkles were delicious! I've decided my favorite is the cinnamon Sprinkle cupcake. I got a bite of April's and now I'm itching to have one all to myself! I may have to hit her up to bring me one next time she's in town!

Your shower was a blast! You looked great, by the way. Mira really got some awesome presents too! It was so good to see you and Abe. It's crazy to think the next time I see you guys, you'll be a family of three :)
