9 Puppies...and a Stroller!

We ended up with 9 little puppies...5 boys and 4 girls. They are the cutest thing you have ever seen. I couldn't possibly post pictures of each individually, so here they are in their nice little dog pile...now I know how that name came into existance...these little cuties do not like to be by themselves. If they get away from the pack they squeek until they get back with the others. So cute. They don't have their eyes open yet, that happens at about 2 weeks. I'll definitely post more pics (unless of course I get busy posting pictures of my own little baby, and then the puppies may be last on the blog roll).

Speaking of my own little baby. I'm still having contractions, but they're not consistent and not painful. I hope it means once labor begins the process will go more smoothly since I've been having contractions for DAYS. And, in the exciting news department...we got our stroller today!! The stroller was a BIG decision on registry day. Abe thought we should just go for a Graco since they tend to be the cheapest. But, I pointed out to him the Graco strollers weigh like half my body weight, why would I want to lift that thing out of the trunk all the time??? I wanted the Peg Perego Pliko P3. Yes, slightly more expensive, but once again I pointed out that of all the baby things we need, the stroller will be the one thing we use ALL THE TIME for a longer period of time. He finally gave in and we registered for the Peg Perego. Well, we thought we registered for it. It turns out we actually didn't, but that's okay because we found a great deal on it! We got some Christmas money from a sweet aunt and wondered why we had never looked on ebay for the stroller. (Cue angels singing) La la la...we found the stroller on ebay, brand new for $150 cheaper than we could get it at Babies 'R Us! And we had just enough to order it that day! La la la! (angels singing again). So, Abe ordered it and it came today!! What's even cuter is that he is so excited about it he asked me to wait until he gets home from work to open it! Yes, the man who didn't want to spend so much on a stroller now can't wait to get home to see the adorable thing for himself. I will definitely be posting pictures once it's opened! Oh, and yes, the Peg Perego is MUCH lighter than the Graco strollers, and MUCH cuter! La la la...!
